Richard Krueger, Founder and Facebook Evangelist

Richard started out as a journalist back in the day when people still read magazines. He then held senior level positions at several top ten public relations agencies and built a reputation as a creative powerhouse and innovative lightning rod, responsible for launching many of the consumer technologies and entertainment formats we have grown accustom too. In 1994, at the very beginning of the proliferation of the Internet, Richard oversaw marketing for Time Inc. New Media. Later, he helped found several successful Internet start-ups, leading marketing efforts for two companies that went IPO, one company that was acquired by AOL and another acquired by Qwest. Michael Friedin, President and Managing Partner

With over 20 years of driving vision and achieving critical strategic goals in multiple industries and markets, Michael brings breadth and depth in leading AboutFace Digital’s evolution, working closely with senior management to set strategy and foster a culture of innovation.

Prior to joining AFD, Michael was Partner and Managing Director of Decision Counsel, a strategic marketing and technology firm. During his tenure, Michael established and oversaw the growth and development of offices in New York and Boston, working for clients such as IDG, Spencer Trask, Bonnier, Align, Terumo and Mercury Computer.

Before joining Decision Counsel, Michael was founder and President of Friedin, an integrated marketing and communications firm. At Friedin, he oversaw expansion, led the development of critical practice areas and disciplines, and built and enhanced key stakeholder relationships with the likes of Pfizer, Altria, Stryker, Pearson, Citigroup, Johnson & Johnson, Prudential, Rodale Press and others.

Michael also spent several years with Grey Advetising, where his clients included Panasonic, Quaker State, Canon, BF Goodrich and Swift-Eckrich.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Hartford.

Ted Smits, Creative Director of Viral Buzz

Ted is an award-winning video producer, writer and editor with more than 20 years of experience. More recently, he has tapped into the viral powers of YouTube, Flickr, Facebook and many others to get his clients videos seen by more than 100-million viewers. That’s a bigger audience than a combined CBS, NBC, Fox and ABC commands.

Adam Davis, Optimization Czar

Adam is not your average pocket-protector geek. He helped build Broadcast.com into the leading audio/video site on the web in its day. After its acquisition by Yahoo, he stayed onto help the company transition into a leading entertainment destination site. He brings a real-world knowledge of SEO/SEM tactics and best practices to the company after founding his own company, ThinkWide Digital, and applying his expertise to the Facebook community.
